Power of Attorney
Following a recent change in the law, Enduring Powers of Attorney have been replaced by Lasting Powers of Attorney, separated into Property and Affairs, and Welfare.
These new Powers are now quite complex, and CMS are able to advise and guide clients through the process, including registration with the Office of the Public Guardian.
This also extends to the appointment of deputies for clients who are no longer capable of executing a power of attorney, through the Court of Protection.
